It’s not just us common folk with dreams of meeting Mickey Mouse and riding Space Mountain over and over – celebrities share the same aspirations too.

Doesn’t everyone want to do the ultimate Orlando theme park holiday at least once in their lives? We’re big believers that everyone should! But for rich and famous celebrities, this experience might look different with added private tours, VIP access, and of course the most luxurious penthouse suite in the very best resorts.

If you’ve got the money and the contacts, why not splash the cash?

But where do celebrities stay in Orlando? At what Orlando celebrity hotels are you most likely to spot an A-lister or two? Let’s discuss the best options for that VIP-style accommodation.

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grand Lakes

Previously spotted A-list resident: John Travolta

To start the list off, let’s take a closer look at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grand Lakes. With its luxurious interiors and an impressive number of dining options, this is where you’re most likely to spot an A-lister. It’s also recently undergone multi-million dollar renovations, so expect only the highest quality decor.

Your experience here is built around relaxation and sophistication. You’ll sleep in a grand cloud-like king-sized bed and wake up to beautiful views you can marvel at on your balcony.

And when your stomach starts to rumble, you’ll be spoilt for choice from the whopping 11 different on-site restaurants, including the Knife & Spoon: the resort’s signature steak and seafood restaurant led by award-winning, Chef John Tesar.

To top it off, all hotel guests get early access to the Walt Disney World Resort parks. So make the most of the morning queues before the crowds start to bustle in!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Previously spotted A-list residents: Jonas Brothers

We couldn’t list the top Orlando celebrity hotels without mentioning Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge: what some would say is the best Disney hotel, or at least the most sought-after.

At this resort, you’ll be treated like a celebrity VIP on safari. With its exhibition of opulent African-inspired decor and a lush savanna right outside your balcony, this is an experience that combines luxuriousness with an exploration of the wonders of the animal kingdom.

Make sure you pay a little extra for a savanna-view room. It’s well worth the additional cost. You’ll wake up to incredible scenes of the grazing African wildlife below, including zebras, giraffes, and flamingos.

Disney is big on conservation, so there’s also an opportunity to learn more about the animals during fun educational programs led by the resort’s resident wildlife specialists.

If you’re an animal lover with a taste for the high life this is the resort for you.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Previously spotted A-list resident: Angelina Jolie

Another of the best celebrity hotels in Orlando is Waldorf Astoria Orlando. But you won’t find any mucky animals here. This is pure luxury at its best.

With its collection of over 500 stunning suites, there’s no doubt you’ll find a suitable room here. It’ll likely exceed any expectations too – Waldorf Astoria hotels are known for going out all to impress and make everyone feel like special VIPs.

Inside the room, you’ll be living and sleeping in grandeur with contemporary decor, lavish furnishings, and modern amenities like flat-screen TVs and an in-room coffee maker. It’s the little things that make your stay extra comfortable.

And the opulence continues out in the resort too. Fill your stomachs at a choice of six restaurants, recharge and refresh at the Waldorf Astoria Spa, and play a full 18 at the stunning on-resort golf course designed by award-winning golf course architect, Rees Jones.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

Previously spotted A-list resident: Sir Paul McCartney

Perhaps the very best of the celebrity resorts in Orlando is the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. Inspired by modern Italian design and architecture, this is a resort that’s dripping in style, class, and elegance.

To top it off, it’s also conveniently located right next door to Walt Disney World’s theme parks. Win-win.

Most impressive is your choice of six spectacular restaurants. The Michelin-starred Spanish steakhouse Capa sits on the 17th-floor rooftop and puts unique twists on traditional tapas. It’s the perfect place for a romantic date night.

There’s also Ravello: a more casual Italian eatery serving up big hearty dishes all the family will love, from small plates of antipasti that whet the appetite to a humble margarita pizza to fill your belly.

Families will particularly love this resort. Active water babies will be in their element at the resort’s on-site mini water park. And at night you can enjoy a movie at the Starstruck Dive-In – grab an inflatable and watch one of your favourite Disney classics in the pool.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Previously spotted A-list residents: Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera

Disney celebrity hotels in Orlando don’t come much more sophisticated than this. With its classic Victorian-era architecture, The Grand Floridian is a Disney property resort that doesn’t feel very Disney – although it’s a family-friendly place, it’s aimed more at adults seeking that first-class luxury experience.

You’ll certainly get that sense of exclusivity here too. This resort undoubtedly lives up to its ‘grand’ title. The rooms and suites are built for royalty and there’s an abundance of world-class facilities and activities to keep you entertained on quieter chill days away from the busy parks.

The resort’s world-renowned Senses spa is a must-visit. Relax with a traditional Swedish massage or feel rejuvenated with a rose renewal facial. The choice is all yours.

And for an extra-special dinner, head to Cítricos: a Mediterranean-American fusion restaurant boasting an award-winning wine list. There’s be a perfect glass waiting whether you’re a red, wine, rosé or champagne kind of person.

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort

Previously spotted A-list residents: James and Oliver Phelps (the Weasley Twins)

When it comes to Orlando’s top celebrity hotels, it’s not all about Disney. Universal has its fair share of incredible resorts too, none more beloved than Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. Impressively large and elegantly charming, this is a resort made for any type of Orlando holiday-goer, especially those looking for that VIP experience.

Most special is the town square-like Harbor Piazza, complete with a wide selection of restaurants for foodies and delightful boutiques for taking home holiday keepsakes and trinkets.

This area truly comes alive when there’s live music playing and bustling crowds of guests dining alfresco or sipping on Espressos. You’ll swear you’re in the real Portofino, a small Italian village the resort is designed around.

Perhaps best of all, resort guests get the VIP treatment in the super close-by Universal parks too. Hop on a short water taxi journey to Islands of Adventure and get early access to the newly-opened Velocicoaster or the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
