Love great food? This is a foodie paradise, with a total of eight top class eateries each serving different styles of cuisine. Every restaurant has its own personality, so you’re sure to find a place you like to go back to because your taste buds have never had such a great time! Here's a rundown of all of One&Only Reethi Rah's restaurants.

• Tapasake is your destination for delicate Japanese dishes. Sunset views and pretty Japanese lanterns await you, along with food with a modern twist. There are four open-air teppanyaki stations and three luscious menus on offer, meaning lots of variety.

• Fanditha is all about tasty Middle Eastern foods, a contemporary version of an Aladdin’s cave with comfy floor seating and matching sea views. The vibe is mellow and the menu á la carte, serving everything from classic mezze platters to succulent grilled meats and fresh seafood – plus, its even holds themed mezze nights.

• Botanica focuses on seasonal cuisine beneath the stars, courtesy of the respected chef Matthew Kennedy, a master of plant-based delights whose food is bursting with flavour.

• Reethi offers Asian and European dishes in a setting split into three distinct areas: Earth, Fire, and Aqua. Discover Earth for fine French and Asian dining, Fire for charcoal oven cuisine, and Aqua for the best in Italian cooking. 

• Rabarbaro provides the finest in casual poolside eating, packed with family favourites.

• Rah Bar is where your all-day light bites are served along with a smile and spectacular views over the beach and ocean.

• Fanditha Bar offers early evening drinks, a lovely way to while away the sunset hours.

Male is the capital of the atoll, the collection of islands and islets surrounding Reethi Rah. Visit a market in the city to discover the unusual, exotic fruits, vegetables and other produce that make this island nation unique. It’s a feast for the senses. The city also offers wonderful street food, excellent scuba diving and snorkelling, and magical sunsets.

Take a four hour walking tour of the best bits of Malé and discover more about this amazing place with a local guide. See local fish being unloaded, freshly caught, from the fish market. Discover the President's Palace, Sultan Park, and the splendid Friday Mosque. Discover awe-inspiring views from the top of a high building, and unusual views in a place that lies barely above sea level. And visit the Royal Garden Cafe for tasty snacks. There are lots of opportunities for fun private tours of the atoll, everything from sandbank snorkelling excursions to full fun adventure trips. Lhaviyani is remarkable, and you can visit it by seaplane via North Malé Air Tours. It’s just 30-40 minute seaplane ride from Malé airport to the atoll’s capital, Naifaru, famous for its dazzling mother of pearl handicrafts, a fabulous souvenir of your experience.

Speedboat transfers from Malé International Airport to One&Only Reethi Rah take around 50 minutes. A private seaplane whizzes you there in just 20 minutes – this is the most popular mode of transport upon arriving in the Maldives.
