The most expensive hotel in Antigua is Jumby Bay. This secluded Caribbean Island is the perfect escape to immerse yourself in all the luxuries, a stone’s throw from the mainland.
The resort is lined with palm trees and fringed by white sands and azure ocean waters. With just 14 villas and 28 suites sprinkled across 300 acres of the island, you’ll experience secluded tranquillity that is incomparable.
This hidden gem is a no-car island, so you can guarantee a peaceful stay. The guest suites are all jaw-droppingly beautiful and oversized. Each features a courtyard, sun loungers, and wicker swinging chairs, where you can gaze out to the azure waters. As you make your way through the resort, you’ll see that it is awash with luxury facilities and decor.
The service here is second-to-none, as the friendly staff help to create an itinerary for your stay with plenty of exciting activities. Benefit from ample cooking classes, water sports like kayaking and surfing, nature programmes where you can learn about the Hawksbill turtles, and even rum tasting classes (we know where we’re heading first).
When you’re not being pampered at the resort spa, you’ll likely be exploring the three masterful restaurants. They all have exquisite views of the ocean and serve up fresh fine dining cuisine, with dishes including lobster ravioli and Antiguan lamb.
All of the guest rooms are incredibly spacious, but if you really want to splurge, book the Estate Suites where you can enjoy your own private pool.

Hermitage Bay is a secluded beachside hotel made up of wooden furnishings that overlook the stunning Caribbean coastlines. Set within the tropical plants and hillside, you’ll be treated to your very own oasis.
The resort oozes opulence thanks to its dark wooden furnishings and modern Caribbean style. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to relaxing in the sun, as there are plenty of sumptuous daybeds to sink into with a refreshing drink in hand.
The restaurant is a sight to behold; it’s open-sided with varying levels, meaning each table gets a unique view of the ocean. Here you’ll be served modern European and Caribbean fusion cuisine as you listen to live music and are served Drappier champagne.
There is so much to see and do during your stay, you can join a morning yoga or pilates class or perhaps head to the water for some non-motorised sports. The spa is a magnificent spot to unwind and release any stress or tension with revitalising body scrubs and hot stone massages. You can also join in any of the cookery demonstrations, head to the salon for a refresh, or work it out in the gym.
The rooms are elegant with a cottage-style suite, private plunge pools, and outdoor aromatic showers to enjoy.

This historic building is incredibly charming, exposed with brick and nestled into the hillside. Service is exceptional with every whim catered to quickly and personably. You can book all manner of activities too, such as hydro bikes, catamarans, and kayaking. However, you may prefer to sit back and relax at the spa or in the library?
The restaurant is incredibly romantic. As you make your way to the alfresco terrace, you’ll pass twinkling fairy lights and sensational views of the ocean. Italian cuisine is on the menu with delicious bites like gnocchi with gazpacho and even octopus pie.
There are just a handful of guest rooms available, which gives the resort an exclusive feel. The suites are remarkable with high-quality deep rich furniture and verandas with gardens or balconies to sit back and capture those stunning Caribbean sunsets.
