Want the VIP treatment during your stay in Orlando? No problem. There is a host of luxurious hotels ready and waiting to offer a first-class experience to the whole family.

So, which are the best ones? Well, it all comes down to what a VIP experience means to you. Is it having the biggest and best suite in the whole resort? Is it being waited on hand and foot by a private butler? Is it having access to world-class resort facilities? If so, you’re in luck, as we’ve rounded up the top VIP hotels Orlando has to offer.

Rest assured this type of VIP treatment isn’t exclusive to big-name celebrities either. Anyone and everyone will receive outstanding hospitality and be made to feel special if they book a stay in these resorts...

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a timeless addition to Disney’s line-up of incredible hotels – perhaps the best? Whether it’s your favourite or not, it’s certainly one of the priciest, but the level of sophistication here is sky high. It's a particular favourite of celebrities visiting Orlando.

The swankiest part of the whole resort is Victoria & Albert’s: a world-renowned fine dining restaurant serving gourmet specialities like Crusted Ranch Lamb, Alaskan King Salmon, and White Chocolate Gelato. Fancy stuff. Just beware that, although this is still a family-friendly resort, children under 10s aren’t allowed in V&As. But don’t worry, there are plenty more casual eateries elsewhere.

The resort’s overall atmosphere is wonderful too. As you return from a day in the parks, a pianist will be sitting at the grand piano playing beloved Disney tunes. Plus, helpful members of staff are always on hand to make your stay better in any way they can, even if it's just a friendly smile.

You’re also just a short walk away from The Magic Kingdom, meaning you won’t need to hail a bus or taxi - it’s right on your doorstep!

Most suitable for: Disney fans willing to splash out on the ultimate Floridian holiday.

Gaylord Palms Resort

You’ll feel like a VIP as soon as you step foot in the tropical paradise lobby of Gaylord Palms Resort. It’s no surprise this resort often ranks highly on lists of Orlando’s most popular hotels.

Best of all, it’s equally suitable for both families and couples. Little ones will spend all day frolicking in the huge onsite Cypress Springs Water Park, featuring thrilling slides and fun splash zones.

Couples may enjoy the resort’s quieter, more sophisticated spaces – like the fine dining Old Hickory Steakhouse that’s perfect for date nights, or the Relâche Spa which offers therapeutic couples’ rituals.

For the ultimate couple’s VIP experience, we recommend booking a stay in one of the resort’s spectacular One-Bedroom Suites. There’s plenty of space to unwind with an open-plan living area and a lavish marble bathroom – perfect for a sumptuous soak after a day in the Florida sun.

Most suitable for: Anyone and everyone. A whole variety of Florida holiday-goers will find something they love here. It’s a real crowd-pleaser.

The Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes

We couldn’t list the best VIP hotels in Orlando without mentioning The Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. A stay here is made special right from the get-go when you’re handed the keys to one of the hotel’s 532 suites.

All the rooms are styled to perfection with warm colours, rich fabrics, and opulent wood furnishings, especially the grandest of all suites: The Royal Suite. A stay in this room might be pricey, but its lakefront views and state-of-the-art entertainment system make it entirely worth it.

The VIP treatment continues outside the room, too. Stop off for a pint at the lakeside Fairways Pub or book a Thai massage at the spa; both different but equally effective options for a relaxing afternoon.

When dinner time rolls around, you’ll have 11 superb dining options to choose from, including Highball & Harvest: an ultra-chic restaurant specialising in the freshest farm-to-table ingredients. In fact, pretty much every fruit or vegetable you eat comes picked from the onsite garden, so it’s sustainable too.

Most suitable for: Groups of friends seeking the ultra-luxurious rooms and suites.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

With its accolade shelf full of hospitality awards, Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is easily one of the best VIP hotels in Orlando. Plus, not only is it magnificently luxurious, but it’s also magnificently sized – covering a whopping 26 acres of land to be precise.

One of the resort’s Park View Rooms will be more than comfortable for a family of four. They even come with a furnished balcony that’s perfect for sitting down to watch the night-time firework displays from Disney’s theme parks, just a few miles away.

And if you fancy something extra special, how about a stay in the Royal Suite? This slightly bigger and fancier version is complete with a pantry kitchen and Bose Bluetooth speakers for playing your favourite Disney tunes every morning whilst you get ready for your day.

That’s another thing that makes Four Seasons one of the top hotels in Orlando – although it’s not strictly a Disney resort, it basically is. It’s located right on Walt Disney World property with your complimentary bus transfers just minutes away from the best attractions.
