When is the best time to visit the Côte d'Azur?
There’s never a particularly bad time to visit Côte d’Azur, but if it’s plenty of sunshine you’re after, we recommend planning your trip sometime between May and September. 
However, if sunshine isn't a priority, try going in the off-season months (October to May) when it’s much quieter and free from the summer crowds of local festivals.

What’s the best way to get around the Côte d'Azur?
Hopping on board a train is the fastest and most convenient way to get around the South of France, especially if you’re travelling longer distances unreachable by car or taxi. The TGV runs between many of the major towns and cities in the Côte d'Azur region, including Nice, Cannes, and St Tropez. It’s also one of the world’s fastest trains. 

For shorter journeys around town, you can also jump on a shared city bike and take the many easy-to-follow cycle routes. France is a super cycle-friendly country, so don’t worry – even the most novice cyclists will feel safe and at ease.
