The Grand-Hôtel Du Cap-Ferrat, a Four Seasons Hotel is widely regarded as the most iconic holiday spot along the inimitable French Riviera. This most distinguished hotel boasts an excellent, decades-long reputation as a luxury destination for discerning travellers, including many celebrities and notable VIP guests.

However, there is much more to discover about the hotel that goes beyond its famous location, so we have compiled a list of 12 fun facts to help you decide if this is the perfect place for your next luxury break. Offering bespoke, one-of-a-kind experiences to world-class facilities and amenities, there’s nothing that the Grand-Hôtel Du Cap-Ferrat can’t do for its guests, and we know you’re going to fall in love with this place.

1. Owner of France’s Highest Hospitality Award

The Grand-Hôtel Du Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera holds the highly esteemed ‘Palace De France’ distinction, which was granted by the French government in 2011. This coveted award is bestowed to the finest five-star hotels in the country – currently only 25 hold that position – marking areas of excellence and ensuring that they uphold the image and high standards of France on the world stage. A meticulous investigation and evaluation into the hotel’s services and amenities take place before the accolade can be granted.

2. Exclusive private luxury villa

The hotel features its own beautiful villa onsite, the Villa Rose-Pierre, which is designed with larger groups in mind. Relaxation and privacy are paramount for guests lucky enough to book this sought-after accommodation; there is a large, secluded pool and uninterrupted views out towards the Mediterranean, as well as the opportunity to enjoy spa treatments right in the comfort of your own villa. To top it off, your stay will be overseen by your very own personal villa assistant who will take care of everything from laying out breakfast in the morning to organising elegant dinner parties and unique local experiences during your stay.

Just think, you could be sat gazing out of your room at the exact same view as an A-List movie star!

4. Excellent for families with children
