Five-star luxury abounds in the details of the accommodations offered at Ulusaba, from the bed linens all the way down to the polished floors strewn with artfully placed rugs and carpets. Feel on top of the world in the Rock Lodge or hunker down for a cosy time beneath a canopy of trees in the Safari Lodge. For those wanting an extra dab of opulence, opt for the two-suite Cliff Lodge, part of the Rock Lodge but set apart from the central lodge for a little more seclusion.
Sitting on the viewing deck of Rock Lodge, you’ll feel like you can see all the way to the ends of the earth. Miles of bushveld stretch out around you, teeming with the most beautiful and fascinating wildlife on the continent – in the distance, you can even see the misty blue outlines of the Drakensburg Mountains. Each room in the lodge has a unique character with designs reflecting the African tribal influences of the area.

On the same sight as the Rock Lodge but removed by a few metres of seclusion, the Cliff Lodge offers guests the ultimate luxury getaway. Containing only two suites this is the perfect option for couples or visitors who want to get away from the crowds. Top tip – if you book both suites for exclusive use then Ulusaba will include a bunch of private luxuries like a chef, game driving vehicle and spa.

Want to enjoy the view while you eat? Not a problem. There are three food venues that cater to any need from on-deck service to outside enclosures and a very chic dining room.
