We caught up with Claire to talk travel, bucket lists, and her most recent holiday. 

WB: How long have you worked in the travel industry?

CB: I’ve been in the travel industry now for over 23 years from working as cabin crew to being a travel manager and now Winged Boots’ in-house concierge. 

WB: Where have you travelled to? 

CB: I’m lucky to have travelled all over the world. I’ve visited every continent except Antarctica. Although I did get very close. I’ve been to Ushuaia, Argentina the southernmost city in the world and gateway to Antarctica. 

WB: Where was your favourite place you’ve visited? 

CB: Bali is my favourite place in the world, but I also love discovering new destinations. I am fortunate to have travelled extensively but I would love to visit Brazil again and explore Rio de Janeiro. I’ve also never been to Croatia so maybe I’ll add that to the travel list for this year. 

WB: Where was your most recent holiday? 

CB: My most recent holiday was to Barbados. I stayed at Fairmont Royal Pavilion and a highlight was hiring a car and driving around the island. We also dined at the iconic The Cliff restaurant. I had the chateaubriand, and it was incredible.
